Schoolmasters Digs opens to rave reviews

The old schoolmasters’ residence right next door the Maydena Bike Park received a complete make over and opened for bookings. An exciting addition to the Digs Lodgings portfolio, Schoolmasters Digs has a brand new living area, new bathroom and laundry, and now has two bathrooms and two toilets making it perfect for large groups.

Comfortably catering for groups of up to 12 people, Schoolmasters house welcomed its first guests – a crew of 10 from Wollongong in NSW. Their feedback was overwhelming. They loved the location, the excellent amenities and attention to detail that goes into every Digs property.

With 4 bedrooms, a comfy lounge area and fireplace perfect for those chilly Tassie nights, Schoolmasters is the perfect base for your next mountainbiking adventure or family getaway to Maydena.

A fantastic feature that has been getting plenty of use is the new outdoor fire pit, ideal for story telling after a day on the trails. We’ve erected a huge shed which provides secure bike storage and a maintenance area for 12 bikes, so your gear will be safe and secure during your stay.
