Reviews from happy Digs guests
“Fantastic accommodation at Derby Digs Barn. So close to the trailhead and facilities were very modern and clean. Great deck to sit and have a beer and fire pit was great.” – Sarah Frew
“My husband and son stayed at Schoolmasters Digs on a recent mountain biking trip. Great location right next to the Maydena mountain bike park. Lovely and clean property. Great to be able to clean the bikes at the end of the day with bike wash, stands and bike tools available. Fast communication from hosts, will stay again. We have also stayed at Derby Digs cottage as a family. Again, great location close to the trailhead. Short walk/ride to local cafes and local pub great for a meal, but you do need to book. Accommodation is a lovely, clean and spacious property. Wood heater adds a lovely ambient feel and has kept us nice and warm. Nice to sit out on the deck and read a book soaking up the winter sun looking down over the river. Will be back again.” – Angie Rooke
“Top notch accommodation, close to the trailhead and close to the bike shop. The owners were excellent with their communication and the bottle of red and the supplies left in the fridge and pantry were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this property for mountain bikers and visitors to the area. Good accommodation set up, wood fire was magic and the bike shed was well thought out. Thanks very much for having us, we will be back for sure!” – Michael Gillian
“Great place to stay in Derby. Central location close to all amenities and more importantly the trails. Plenty of room to spread out and a wood heater that really warms the place up nicely, which we appreciated on our winter solstice overnight stay. We will definitely be back again!” – Ian Smith
“Stayed here as a group of 12 mountain bikers. Was FANTASTIC! Location is close to everything, walking distance to local cafe and the trailhead is not far at all! The accommodation was very clean, spacious and modern. Would highly recommend!” – Tarryn Harding
